  • Toothgems are applied using orthodontic grade gentle cleaning agents and UV activated resins. First, the surface of the tooth is cleaned using an etching agent to flush out the micro-pores in the surface of the enamel. Then, a combination of two different viscosity resins is used to bond the gem to the surface of the tooth and encapsulate the perimeter to ensure a complete seal.  There is no drilling or harmful chemicals during application.

  • The process is similar to the process of placing orthodontic braces. The same dental materials are used. A dental curing light is used to set the final design in place. The whole process takes about 15 minutes. There is no drill or pain involved.

  • Initially, something on your tooth will feel different, but your mouth will get used to the new feeling after a couple of days.
