Wait 24 hours after neurotoxins and 2 weeks after filler before getting a facial.
Avoid sun exposure.
Do not exfoliate, use retinol, and high percentage AHA and BHA products for 48 to 72 hours prior and 7 days for dermaplaning.
Consider and plan accordingly for other services such as: spray tanning, hair removal, lash lifts and extensions, and brow lamination.

Depends. Your esthetician will help you set up the best routine that fit your budget and skin care concerns. Getting a facial monthly is ideal but quarterly, biannually or annually is beneficial too.

Common agents used in light peels may include combinations of alphahydroxy acids and beta hydroxy acids, such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid and maleic acid. All of these chemicals are the milder choices than those used for deeper peels. You can repeat these treatments at regular intervals to achieve your desired results.

Recent use (72 hours) of AHA’s (alpha hydroxy acids, e.g. glycolic and lactic acids) and BHA’s (beta hydroxy/salicylic acid)
Recent (1 month) chemical peels, microdermabrasion, neurotoxins, laser, fillers, and facial surgeries
Skin disease, skin trauma, cuts, abrasions, sunburns, burns, and swelling in the immediate area
Skin disorders in the general eye area such as dermatitis or active eczema/psoriasis flare-ups
Eye infections such as conjunctivitis or pinkeye
Recent (1 month) chemical peels, microdermabrasion, neurotoxins, laser, fillers, facial surgeries, and permanent make up (must be healed for 6 weeks)
Skin disease, skin trauma, cuts, abrasions, sunburns, burns, and swelling
Skin disorders such as dermatitis and active eczema/psoriasis flare-ups

Dermaplaning Contraindications
Women who are pregnant/nursing can schedule dermaplaning. However, you need to be aware they you are more sensitive, could be more reactive, breakout, and that if you are nicked you may bleed more.
